Castillo Cintrón, nació en Bayamón el 30 de marzo de 1933. Cursó estudios en la
Centra High School de Santurce y en la U.P.R., donde obtuvo el grado de
Bachiller en Artes. Tocó mandolina en la Orquesta Rondalla de Puerto Rico y se
destacó especialmente como actor dramático.
Sus valores humanos estuvieron siempre por encima de su profesión. La actividad
a que con más cariño se entrega quizás sea el programa infantil "Topo Gigio" por
el profundo sentido de humanidad y bondad que su creadora manifiesta a través de
este muñeco.

He was born on March 30 of 1933 in Bayamón, Puerto Rico
One of the finest television
and movie actors of Puerto Rico of the 60, born
in Bayamón, Puerto Rico. His studied at the Central Superior High School
in Santurce and at The University Of Puerto Rico. He was the firts interpreter
in "Simplemente Maria", a soap opera produced by Panamerican Television from
Perú and filmed in Argentina. In mexico he filmed the soap opera "Renzo el
Gitano" ( Renzo the Gypsy) and his TV show "El Topo Gigio" directed mostly
to children audience was very famous trough latin America. Braulio
Castillo has been one of the finest puertorricans actors always loved by people
from all Latin America. He has been honored many times by multiple goverment and
private organizations. El "Teatro Braulio Castillo" named after him is a
testimony of his work and dedication.
